Dr. Terry Mason is a urologist and assistant professor of surgery at the Abraham Lincoln School of Medicine, University of Illinois. He is affiliated with Mercy Hospital, Michael Reese Hospital and Rush Presbyterian in the Chicago area. A regional director of the Impotence Institute of America (now the World Impotence Association), he published the book Making Love Again, Renewing Intimacy and Helping Your Man Overcome Impotence in 1988. He has presented several reviews of treatments such as penile injection therapy and Caverject to the National Medical Association as well as the World Meeting on Impotence.
Dr. Mason has received many community awards including the Outstanding Young Doctor Award from Dollars and Sense, Nigerian-American Forum''s Distinguished Persons award and the Monarch Awards Foundation Men in Medicine award. He is a lifetime member of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People and board member of the Saltpond Redevelopment Institute of Ghana, West Africa. He has also been the host of WVON''s weekly radio program, Doctor in the House.
