| Watchful waiting |
Careful observation without immediate treatment. |
| Wide local excision |
A procedure in which the doctor removes only the cancer and some normal tissue surrounding the tumor. |
| X-ray |
High-energy radiation used in low doses to create images of the body to help diagnose diseases and determine the extent of injuries. |
| Yeast infections |
Infections of the vagina caused by one of the many species of fungus called Candida. A change in the chemical balance in the vagina allows the fungus to grow too rapidly and cause symptoms. |
