Many years ago an ex-husband left me with HPV. I had one wart removed and never had another symptom externally. Ten or so years ago I started having pain with intercourse - my best description is like moving a razor blade back and forth. The pain was centered around my
urethra. After many years, many GYN, urologists and family doctors, one of them finally did a
biopsy. From the
external tissue, the report states:
benign squamous papilloma suggestive of
condyloma acuminatum. HPV. I knew that. What the doctor tells me is that there is nothing I can do to clear up this problem so that I might have a sex life again. I'm 50. This has been going on for over 10 years. Is there an answer??
Thank you for listening.
