Far too wet..... 4 Months, 2 Weeks ago Karma: 0
Hi there all.

I'm a 28 yr old female who, for the past couple of years, has had serious vaginal wetness issues.

It's so embarassing during sexual arousal with my partner, as the excess lubrication from me stops either of us receiving hardly any friction or stimulation from intercourse, and, embarassingly, being soaking wet makes my vagina feel so much bigger than it really is... i'm sure it must feel huge to my partner (it does to me during sex! ), due to his penis just slipping about all over the place when inside me, without feeling any proper rubbing on my vaginal walls.

I did have a baby when i was 19, but i've never had this problem with any lover up until 2 yrs or so ago (and i've been with my current partner 6 yrs), so giving birth 9 yrs ago cant be my problem.

And, strangely, when i go for smears and vaginal examinations, the nurses struggle immensely to insert the speculum, whilst regularly telling me i have strong vaginal muscles and that i need a narrower but longer speculum than 'normal' to insert it without pain.
I know this is because i'm not sexually aroused, and uncomfortable so my muscles clench, but i try to clench my muscles throughout intercourse but it does very little to help make my vagina feel tighter and create frictional pleasure, because of the ridiculous amount of vaginal wetness i produce.... I even get my partner to pull out (pretending to change positions) so i can dry myself off, and i'm literally wet through! But this only seems to make it hard for him to enter (b/c the outside of the opening is too dry now) and then once he finally enters me im still soaking wet inside and we have the same problem!

I just feel so ashamed and embarassed, and to those who may say i'm lucky i'm too wet than too dry, i assure you this isnt the case... when extra lubrication can always be added manually, but not magicked away if it becomes an excess problem.

Also, during my smear-tests the nurses have noticed a milky fluid coming from the top of my vagina, several times, which is in higher quantities than 'regular' female secretions.
They sent the fluid off to be checked for infection/stds etc (which looks just like milk and is enough to make my panties crutch very wet throughout the day), and on several occasions everything down there has come back as completely 'normal'..... Yet even the nurses commented that im much wetter than most women they see.

What's wrong with me?! ~ Can anyone suggest why i get so wet below?... (and like niagra falls during sexual intercause!.. to the extent it's running down both my legs).

Its really embarassing writing this, but the doctors/nurses just brush me up and tell me there IS no normal, and to deal with it, b/c i have no *medical* problem..... but still i have a physical problem, which is ruining my sex-life & destroying my confidence!

Can anyone offer any advice at all please? xxxx

No need to be embarrassed. People come here with all kinds of issues.

Try googling for "excessive vaginal wetness". It seems to produce a number of possibly useful articles.

Hi my wife & I have had a very healthy sex life for over 30 years never too dry or wet, all things appeared to be normal, and it has always been enjoyable for both of us, about 8 months ago my wife started to ejeculate more often than normal and now I only have to touch near her vagina and she almost exploades and within a matter of seconds of penetration she orgasm totally saturating anything in the line of fire to about 8 inches and will continue to do so for as long as I am inside her and I myself notice the lack of friction hence making it difficult for me to finish and therefor I can last a lot longer, an hour and a half is not unusual these days and sometimes we stop have a break and continue making love orally or some other way and we often use varioues vibrators for her while she gives me oral sex but I always like to cum inside her vagina as she enjoys the feeling, I thought it to be a bit of a problem with the lack of friction at first but now we have changed our habits and technices somewhat and that problem seems to have faded into a distant past, if your man is satified about your current situation, which you obviously are enjoying yourself, show him how you appreciate it and give him a bit of oral stimulation at the end as well as him stimulating you so you to can enjoy it even more, hope this helps.

Re: Far Too Wet

I am in the same boat as you.
In August I was diagnosed with a condition called "hydrosalypinx) it means inflammation of one of the fallopian tubes. Before I was diagnosed, I was getting this severe pain deep in my vagina, and a continual steam o milky white fluid. Just as you did , I saw my gynaecologist who had this discharge from my vagina tested, came back showing no bacteria. I continued to have this discharge, in fact I would just have to sit on the toilet and my vagina would just open up like a torrent of milky fluid, sometines accompanied by severe burning, almost like I had my own personal flame thrower inside my vagina. Because I have a rare neurodegenerative disease, and it makes it impossible to insert any applicators into my vagina for treatment so my husband does this for me.It is usually quite painful inside my vagina very high up when he does this.

I had a pelvic ultrasound which showed I had the "Hydrosalpinx and I was told that the discharge from my vagina was probably leaking from this infected tube and I had a course of antibiotics and it seemed to clear it up. Only I got thrush from the antibiotics, which normally happens when I have antibiotics.

If I was you I would ask for a pelvic u/s to be done to check to see if you have sometihing like this. You may or may not but it might be worth getting it checked, because it would be better to know now in case, like me, it becomes chronic and then takes longer to shake off. You need to find out to get peace of mind with this so have it checked out. I would be interested to know what you find out Good luck. BB
