TOPIC: Vaginal/Clitoral orgasm
#9118
Vaginal/Clitoral orgasm 2 Years, 1 Month ago Karma: 0
I know this has probably been brought up before, but after searching the forums, I still could not get a clear answer. My question is what is the actual physiological difference between the vaginal and the clitoral orgasm?

I've read in some places that it just depends on where the stimulation occurs and that the bodily response itself is the same. In other places, such as the book "The Orgasmic Diet" (which I found on this site), it says that the sensations themselves are different as if the orgasm actually happens in a different part of the body. At least that's what I gathered from it.

Here's why I'm confused. I'm capable of clitoral orgasms, but I feel them deep inside the vaginal canal. There are strong contractions within the vagina itself. Everything moves, the cervix, the anal sphincter. Everything. I also sometimes experience ejaculation. But this happens from clitoral stimulation. Not vaginal or g-spot stimulation.

Here's another thing that's weird. I can have orgasm's in my sleep, and they feel exactly the same, except less intense, as the "awake" clitoral orgasms. Vaginal contractions and everything, but it happens with no clitoral stimulation at all. It's spontaneous. This makes me wonder if an orgasm is just an orgasm. That it doesn't matter what kind of stimulation, if any, it comes from. I don't know. Could someone clear this up for me?

I am confused about this as well. I have clitoral orgasms - with vaginal contractions - and during penetrative intercourse I have these moments where I stop breathing and shake and feel really good, but without the vaginal contractions. Were those vaginal orgasms? Or were they the beginning of vaginal orgasms, and the contractions are still to come? Is that how they are for you?

As for the sleep contractions, yeah, I think they count as orgasms - just weak ones that don't feel good? I've had them. Kind of like wet dreams I guess, where men ejaculate but it's nowhere near the same thing as sex.

Hmmm, I think you would know if you were having vaginal orgasms... I always have contractions with any orgasm. Isn't that just part of the physiology of an orgasm?

I'm wondering what you were feeling. I have a suspicion that perhaps that was the onset of a vaginal orgasm.

I have to fantasize intently whilst having sex in order to achieve them. I get that feeling and then have to really let my mind go.
Try that. What turns you on? Do you watch porn? When you start to get that feeling, visualize a scene that got you hot or whatever it is. I am not proud of my fantasies, in fact rather embarrassed by them... but it's what does the trick.
