Firmer breasts 7 Years, 5 Months ago

Okay, here's a question that I haven't seen discussed before.... I've noticed that when I was pregnant that my breasts were a lot firmer. As with most women, I noticed this when I was about 6-8 weeks pregnant, and throughout my whole pregnancy. So now, after having two kids and nursing each for a year, my question is: are there any herbal supplements or prescriptions available to get the same effect? I'm assuming that the firmness was due to the milk glands being stimulated. I know there is a RX for women who want to nurse but are having issues, but I just can't see going to my doctor and telling her I want something like this so that my breasts would be firmer!! When I was pregnant it was like an instantaneous boob job! Anyway, thought maybe someone would have some advice. Thanks.

I know the feeling. I just weaned my daughter (nursed 2 for 12 and 15 months back to back, not tandem). After about 2 weeks, I went all flat, its as if there's nothing there.
There's a commercial product available that's supposed to help with firmness. I'm surprised you haven't heard of it. It's in all the baby magazines. Of course I can't mention the name, but as always, please feel free to email me.
But a warning, I'm not sure what the exact herbal ingredients are, but I believe it may be a phytoestrogen and it supposedly mimics that hormonal change in puberty that made you get breasts in the first place. I'm interested in trying it, but the way my hormones are out of whack, I think I'll deal with the way they are.

If it sounds too good to be true......
My thought is, that if there were something that did work in making our breast firm or bigger w/o surgery, we would have heard a LOT about it.
I would say, don't waste your money on a pill to fix your breasts.

well there is something that naturally firms your breasts...... I'm not sure exactly what it is, I believe it's prolactin. (correct me if I'm wrong) Anyway, the reason why I'm asking is because I recently miscarried in December. During that time and for about 2 or 3 weeks later, my breasts were in great shape!! Anyway, didn't know if this was something you could "naturally" stimulate (other than being PG) or if it would screw up my already messed up hormones.

I don't think you'd be able to get a doctor to give you hormones to simulate pregnancy so that you could have firmer breasts. I think that even if it were possible, it could potentially have negative health consequences (think of all the other physical effects of pregnancy on your body). I've actually spoken to my doc about it, and she said that surgery is the only way (which I do consider every now and again...we'll see when I have more money).

Sorry, if I'm being too flip...but...
It may not help you feel better about yourself, but hey, most men like breasts in all shapes sizes and firmness levels. *grin*
Provided you have a significant other, I'd suggest that you prominantly display them, and ask him if he likes them! If he says no, I'd suggest a head examination is in order.
I think all breasts are beautiful. I'm not a "big breast" man myself, generally preferring smallish ones, but big ones are beautiful too.
In short, I'd be willing to bet that yours are just fine and wonderful. I'd like to encourage you like them too. They're yours and they, like you, are unique.
Cheers,
Greg
