If you are a busy Mom, and not a newlywed, how often do you have sex?

Do most women shave their pubic hair?
All of it? Just a trim? Not at all.

I am not a mom, so the first question doesn't pertain to me.
I shave all of my pubic hair, and have since I was about 16. I modeled, and it was just a pain to trim and do the bikini line for things like bathing suits--easier to just shave it all off. I grew to really like it that way, and still shave today (I am 31).
Most of the women I know trim their pubic hair in some manner. Some of it's practicality for things like swimwear, and some for a "cleaner" look for themselves or their lovers. A few shave totally as I do; but, in my social circle most just trim.

When I was a teenager, I used to completely shave it off. Don't do that anymore. Had a bikini wax just before I married; very painful(I didn't mind the leg wax; 'twas the bikini wax that nearly finished me off). Haven't shaved or waxed since, as I fear that this might prove uncomfortable for husband (surely, I thought, the "sandpaper effect" would dampen the man's ardour?...).
Is there such a thing as a painless bikini wax? Oh for a Pubic-hairdresser who could introduce some painless elegance down there!!! A pubic gardener who could... um.... skillfully prune the excess growth, (so to speak).
For, I blushingly confess, my genital wardrobe could do with a makeover. Any suggestions?

Hi, well I am a busy mom and not newly married, so I guess I can answer the first question. As long as no one is sick, or feeling under the weather, then we usually do it 4 or 5 times a week, there are weeks were it can be everyday, and a couple times a day, depending on circumstances. But on average 4 to 5 a week. We really have focused over the years to make us time and family time, and when money is tight us time will be a movie in the tv room after the kids are in bed, transition time from mommy to wife is important to me, and hubby knows that and understands and really appreciates that.
Your other question Pubic hair, I usually shave, trim, wax, or epilady or a combo of the four, but now lately, I am getting ingrown hairs, so I am thinking about that lazer hair removal..... Anyone have any comments on the lazer? How do you guys shave off the whole area without feeling itchy? I tried that a few times, but feel it is to itchy later.

I would also like an answer on the lazer hair removal question before me.
I shave mu pubic hair and I shaved it all off once. I hated it. The itching was unbearable.
I have really bad ingrown hairs so I would like to lazor them out! lol.
Oh and to the mom that has sex 4 to 5 times a week. YOU GO GIRL! You have given me new hope. To many times I hear of mothers who don't have sex anymore and who don't want. I think that is some bullshit. Yes, I am only 24 for my goodness, I couldn't imagine. My boyfriend and I were laughing about that not too long ago, the fact that not having sex anymore once you have kids, is just ridiculous!

Only 19 and no kids as of yet (thank goodness!), but I do shave the whole area "down there." I've probably been doing so for about three years now, just for the fact that I think it looks nicer. One thing I've learned, in regards to the whole "godawful itching" dilemma, is that you have to be very careful what kind of razor you use. The skin on the genital area is SeNsAtIvE (obviously), and if you're not using the right kind of base and/or are using an old razor, you're in for some definite agony. I've found that using a shaving gel works better than anything else, and my new best friend is my triple-bladed, swivel-head razor. Let your skin soak in warm/hot water for a bit before trying to shave also helps. It's the same with your legs... soaking helps to prevent razor burn.
I've been doing this for quite some time, and not too long ago I got a little forgetful in regards to my "grooming." School, work, lack of sleep all played their part... But let me tell you, that will never happen again! I experienced more itching when the hair got long(ish) than I ever did fully shaven.
As for my circle of peers, most of my friends now shave completely, and through a long string of awkward conversations (not initiated by me), I discovered that my mother and older sister do as well.
