Vestibulectomy 4 Months, 3 Weeks ago Karma: 0
I just got back from seeing my doctor where he broached the subject of a vestibulectomy. I have been seeking treatment for the past 3 years now and have had no success!!! I have severe pain and swelling from the outside labia all the way up to the hymen. I really have NO idea what this surgery entails or the recovery, pros/cons etc. I would appreciate any and all help!!!

pedsrntobe,go to the search button at the top of this page , type in Vestibulectomy and" all open forums". That will bring up posts from those who either have had a vestibulectomy or are thinking of having the operation. That will give you some good information .
Also here is a link to an article by Dr. Andrew Goldstein about treatments.
