His and Her Health

My wife is around 40 and we have an excellent relationship. In the summer of 2008 my wife had lost about 20 lbs and felt really great about herself. Her sex drive went from once or twice a week to once or twice a day.
However in May of 2009 it ended and ended hard, I don't think she kissed me all summer. This really hurt me and left me very confused.
We have talked about til we were both blue in the face. I finally just tried to let it go and things are getting better.
She chalks it up to stress and hormones. which I do believe since she hardly ever gets wet anymore and this was never a problem before

What happened and will it come back or was this just a flash in the pan.

It is possible that your wife is approaching peri- menopause and with that a decrease in her hormone levels. She might want to see her Gyn for a full hormone level check.
