Well I havent had the success on a continual basis. Some days its better then others its back to the same old bad orgasm. It dont make sense. Occasionally I do have a normal orgasm or pretty much near how it used to be. Cant seem to make sense of why sometimes it is good and other times it is not.

This site is slower for me now. When you click on post reply or turn pages it takes longer then normal. I am used to sudden turn to the next page like it used to do now it delays. even scrolling it delays. I liked the site how it was before.

We had no choice but to get away from the old bulletin board code, it was ancient and did not integrate well with other systems.

This page load delay we suspect may be because of all of the forwards that we put into the web server, these forwards have to be processed prior to the pages being loaded.

This ensures that all of the old URLs that are now broken get redirected correctly. There are at least 6,000 of these rules that have to be tried before it loads each page, so we are assuming that this is a processing speed issue.

The good news is that at some point in the future we will be able to remove these rules as Google will at that point have updated it's links to our site accordingly. We apologize for any inconvenience in the meantime and appreciate your participation in the community.

In the future if you could please post questions related to the technological workings of the site in the technical support forum that we just created that would keep this topic clean.

To Admin, The technical problem (multiple browsers automatically opened after exiting the forum) I mentioned yesterday has disappeared. Thanks for your help. By the way, interested to know what was the problem. Thanks.

After receiving your notice, I did some troubleshooting and found that the issue you described was related to an odd combination of Facebook Connect, the forum software, and Internet Explorer 7 (but only IE7 with Protected Mode disabled). With Protected Mode enabled, users got a constant refresh-type activity. I have removed the Facebook Connect option from all but the Home page and that seems to have resolved the issue.

BTW, we are working fervently to reduce page load times in the forums as well.
