TOPIC: Red/Sore/Sensitive penis head
#31039
Red/Sore/Sensitive penis head 1 Year, 3 Months ago Karma: 0
I was wondering if anyone could help me. For a few months the head of my penis has become red/sore/cracked/very sensitive to touch (all over, but there is a patch that is worse in the centre). Also around the end of my foreskin is very red, but not really tight.
All this comes on worse when i get an erection and becomes painfully worse after any sort of sexual contact (with or without a condom) or mastibation. I've had the same girlfriend for 2 years now, and she has no symptoms of STD's and has been treated for thrush as a precaution. I have also tried canesten cream for 3 weeks and the tablet, with no real affect.

I have visited my doc's, and he gave me aquious cream, and i applied that for 3 weeks, which does seem to help the redness, but as soon as my penis is erected or any sexual contact, its right back to square one.

Please help

Make another appointment with your doctor. You still have pain. Have you tried abstaining from sex or masturbation for a while to see if that helps? Do see your doc again.

If you are active in sex you should be aware how STD can affect you. STD can only avoid if you abstain from sex complete. However, if not, you and your partner can still be free to STD by having an STD Test which is preferred than using condoms.

STD testing is a good idea for anyone who believes they have come into contact with a sexually transmitted disease. Even if there are no symptoms to warn a person of an infection living in their body, the possibility is there and STD tests can determine whether an STD is present or not. Getting tested is beneficial to protecting your health and the health of your sex partners.
