TOPIC: Does penis skin heal?
#39818
Does penis skin heal? 2 Months, 1 Week ago Karma: 0
Following a particularly low point in my life recently that included an unusually frequent amount of masturbation, my penis skin has suffered. Most of the skin along the shaft has become somewhat wrinkled and appears to have possible scar tissue in the creases of the wrinkles from stretching.

When fully erect it doesn't look that bad, but when flaccid it looks a bit damaged (to me at least), as described above.

I am wondering if this heals or not over time, and if there is anything I can do to encourage healing - other than completely leave it alone.

Thx.

This may sound silly but are you using a lubricant when you masturbate?

Yes I have used lubricants, but different kinds. Sometimes basic skin moisturizer lotion, and then an actual lubricant. Maybe a few dry times, but not much. Have done it without lube over the years previously with no ill effect.

Do lubes have an ill-effect on skin over time?

If there is no pain and no open skin cracks then I would just ignore it.. Is it just a cosmetic thing for you that you have just noticed lately? Unless you are allergic to some ingredient in the lubes they should not cause a change in your skin.
