Can an exam be done

Can a Gyn Exam br done without sturrips? I hsve had hip surgery but am experiencing some unexplained discharge and need to find out whats up

Call your gyn and ask. He/she will probably work with you (there are often facilities in many offices for women with a variety of handicaps), so long as there's advanced warning.
