Why is this happening to me!

I am a young 24 year that is very upset with whats been going on. In the past 3 1/2 years I been bleeding during intercourse. I been to the gyn numerous times, but they have no answers for me. I even got ultrasounds, and surgery to see what is wrong. But nothing was seen. I need help very bad. This been going on long enough, and I know this is not normal. If anyone has this same problem, or if you have any answers for me, I would appreciate it. Please help me

Re: Why is this happening to me!

Do you have pain with intercourse, as well as bleeding? Does it happen every time you have intercourse?
Have you been tested for STDs? Chlamydia can, for example, cause bleeding during intercourse while showing no other symptoms at all. This particular STD can even be passed on by a man who will never show symptoms (this happened to me a long time ago, which is how I know this). Condoms aren't proof against all STDs, including this one. Has this been ruled out?

Re: Why is this happening to me!

It only hurts sometimes when I have intercourse. But I do bleed everytime, all the time. I have been tested for STD's, and all the test were negative. I just don't understand why my doctors have no answers for me. I even bleed when we use lots of lubrication.

Re: Why is this happening to me!

Have your doctors tested:
-Your estrogen level? Low estrogen can happen at any age, thought it's much more rare in younger women, and can cause vaginal tissue atrophy. This can lead to tearing and hence, bleeding.
-For cervical cancer and/or polyps?
-Cancer of the uterus?
-Pelvic flamatory disease?
-Vaginal cancer?
-Cervitis?
-Lichen sclerosis?
I am not saying these things to scare you, but they can be quite serious and are best ruled out now. Exploratory surgery may not have caught these types of things, but proper lab work can. At this point, I would consider switching providers if possible. Sometimes, a fresh perspective can find things someone who's seen you for a long time won't. Request specific tests for the things above, and get re-tested for STD's. The tests aren't 100% accurate, and doing a second series is a good idea.
Keep us posted on what you find, and good luck in your search.
