Former vaginal surgery question

Dear Dr. Goldstein,
Question: If I have had a Colporrhaphy (anterior and posterier repair) with some shoring up of the bladder, how might or does this procedure affect the Grafenberg spot.
History: The surgery was done about 18 months after the birth of my third daughter at a birthing center(a rather rapid VBAC after the OB-GYN used a prostaglandin suppository earlier in the day). During the birth I received conflicting messages from the doctor and the attending nurse; she told me to push too early and he did not contradict her, so I tore quite a bit, both muscle and perineum.

Re: Former vaginal surgery question

An anterior colporrhaphy can cut some of the tissue of the G- spot.
Do you notice less sensation during intercourse?
Dr. Goldstein

quote:
Originally posted by zephyrX:
Dear Dr. Goldstein,
Question: If I have had a Colporrhaphy (anterior and posterier repair) with some shoring up of the bladder, how might or does this procedure affect the Grafenberg spot.
History: The surgery was done about 18 months after the birth of my third daughter at a birthing center(a rather rapid VBAC after the OB-GYN used a prostaglandin suppository earlier in the day).
