Help

PLEASE answer my question. I’m 40-year-old woman who is in a loving long-term relationship. My problem is that I have 0 to no sexual response, what I mean is that I can’t get aroused therefore I do not have orgasm, the strange part is that I do produce that wetness but I do not feel anything. I have been “pretendingâ€

Re: Help

Have you read the "For Women Only" book that this website is sort of connected with? It discusses in detail exactly what you are describing. It could be a host of different things, but the book might help you to narrow it down so that you can better discuss it with your current (or a more enlightened new one) doctor. I would really recommend it. I was able to find it at the library (dewey decimal # 613.954 at my library).

Re: Help

The Effexor may be causing your inability to get aroused or have orgasm. They are several things that you can try. They are extensively discussed in our book "Reclaiming Desire" about herbal and medicines that can help. It is too extensive to describe here.
Dr. Goldstein

quote:
Originally posted by Phantasy:
PLEASE answer my question.
