New Problem - "Anti-Climax"? (Not Discussed in Current

Help!
After 7 years of thriving marriage - where the orgasms just keep getting better! - I've developed a problem that NONE of the literature seems to address...
Now, 4 months after having delivered my 5th child (darling), here's what's happening...
My husband and I enjoy foreplay. I arouse readily (e.g., plentiful lubrication, flush, rising excitement). Then...
Just at the point when I would ordinarily begin orgasming, I experience TOTAL shutdown - emotionally, if not physically. Continuing attempts at titillation repulse me, and I want to curl up and die. Instead, I curl up and CRY.
My husband has even tried to "back off" of my clitoris and touch only indirectly, but it doesn't seem to be an issue of "over-sensitive" clitoris. It's rather that I become instantly disinterested, even discouraged. My husband quickly comforts me with non-sexual cuddles, and I'm up for that, but I can't shake this "anti-climax"!
I love my husband, and do NOT have any resentment, stress or concerns toward him. I AM, however, beginning to FEAR each new sex play-time (after 6-8 with identical results).
I've read bucketsfull of literature on hormones, physical problems, emotional issues (even non-marital stress), but NO ONE seems to address this issue or even NAME it!
Am I the ONLY ONE?
[I DID have a hard pregnancy (troubled by my contracting "mono") and a harsh delivery (BIG baby with shoulder distosia - sp?). But no implements were used to extract him. Just strong, leverage force between doctor's arm inside and labor nurse's on outside. So, there COULD be physical/nerve damage. However, WHY would arousal proceed through ALL stages up to "climax," then instantly plummet?]
Oh, and the soonest I could get an appointment with my dear obgyn, whom I love, was July's end, SO, I saw the "nurse practitioner" first. NO diagnosis, no tips other than "WAIT" for hormone balance to be restored. I HAVE begun applying a recommended "progesterone" (accurately-dispensing pump), and did that for three weeks before taking a one-week break, after which I'll re-continue. BUT, thus far, no improvement.
Thank you for your serious consideration!
