Hello, I am 20 years old and my boyfriend and I just broke up a few months ago.(after 3 years) We still have sex every now and then! Well I brought to his attention that I am late on my peroid by 2 weeks and I think that I am pregnant! He claims the I didnt ejaculate inside so its not mine!! And I havent slept with anyone (ever) other than him! I was just curious if it is possible if you have unprotected sex with a man, if you can get pregnant before he actually ejaculates? (i.e. the pull out method) Please Help, he is driving me nuts!! <P>BTW: I have a doctors appt On monday, the 15 of November to have my blood drawn so its not official yet, and I appreciate any comments or suggestions that anyone may have!! The answer is YES. Most men leak a bit before ejaculation. You have probably noticed this with him when messing around with him. When he gets aroused a small amount of very clear fluid which is quite slippery will apear. This is often called "pre-cum" and yes this stuff is loaded with sperm and can cause a female to become pregnant by just penetration without full ejaculation. Before they had the pill and other contraceptives this was the way most couples tried to avoid pregnancy (the pull out method). But it isn't a very good method for BC.<P>You really should have educated yourself before engaging in sexual activities - looks like you are in a bind now.

Thanks very much for your input. It is greatly appreciated. I did go to the doctors and I am pregnant. But now that we know for sure I think that he is coming around. And we are getting back together to see if its going to work. So thanks again for the comments.

Well I am sorry to hear you learned a lesson the hard way but don't cry over spilled milk. You have to now focus your energy on getting your relationship in order since the both of you are thrust into adulthood with this news. If you feel that your bf is not ready to take on the responsibility of being a father then you might want to consider putting the baby up for adoption. A real good friend of mine just adopted a baby from a young high school age girl and they paid for everything for her (hospital, doc visits, maternity clothing, etc) and they now have a beautiful baby girl.
