Re: Sex
Actually, the absence of a hymen does not mean a woman has had sex. Tampons, certain types of activities such as bike or horseback riding, masturbation and a variety of other things can break the hymen. Gyns can, however, tell if a woman has recently had sex by small bruises and cuts around the vaginal opening. This is the same thing they use in rape cases (they can tell if sex was likely forced or consentual) and molestation cases.<P>Your doctor, however, should not be judgemental about this.
