Re: bleeding/spotting

I haven't seen your other post, so forgive me if I ask things or say things that have been said.

By this post, you haven't given enough information to even take a stab at what could be your problem.

Women experience spotting for MANY different reasons, most of which are harmless and often hormone related.

So, depending on your age, birth control, period history, and a wide range of other things, there could be nothing wrong with you, or you could have something that needs looked at.

Spotting or bleeding that lasts for several weeks is something to get checked out. There are a variety of issues that can cause that, most of which require a doctor's help to solve.

If your spotting turns to bleeding that soaks up to a pad an hour, go to the ER.

If your spotting is with heavy cramping, check your temp and call your doctor right away. Pelvic infections can cause spotting, cramping, and fevers. Some infections are life threatening, and can do serious harm within a short amount of time.

If you are having pain during intercourse, you need to be seen by a doctor.

If you have spotting regularly, in addition to your period, you should be seen.

Those would be signs of more serious issues.

Most of the time, random spotting is related to stress or some unseen change in your hormones.

Take care.
