His and Her Health

I am new here and have a rather embarrassing question to ask...I will try not to make this too long, but feel I must preface by saying that I had a vaginal hyst in 2001, in 2002 I had to have a salpingo-oophorectomy because adhesions had wrapped around the ovary sticking everything to my intestine, in January of 2005 I had vaginal prolapse surgery, my intestines again were wrapped in adhesions. Lately, I am having vaginal flatulence unrelated to intercourse. It will happen at work, getting up off a chair and since I work as a receptionist in a medical office this is very embarrassing. I do have an appointment scheduled for Aug. 25 with the Urogyn who did my last surgery, but was wondering if anyone has any ideas as to what this might be, is it serious, etc.
