I had a hysterectomy little over 6 weeks ago. My OB/GYN took out my tubes as they were what he called clubbed and filled with fluid, he also took out my uterus,left my ovary's. He told me to hold off on sex for sex weeks i was just to see him 2 days ago and he asked if my husband and I have tried it yet. We had a couple days before my appointment it went alright no pain but I spotted a bit after I told him that he wasn't to concerned about it. Now To day my husband and I had sex again it was great I orgasmed and enjoyed it had little bit of pain but not much but I was bleeding rather heavy. Is this normal? When I went tot he bathroom it was a stream of blood and the TP was covered in blood as was my husband. It freaked me out and I am going to call him tomorrow. But I was wondering if this is normal?

By now, you've probably discussed this with your doctor- and maybe even been rechecked.
In most cases, a brief bleeding episode after this kind of major surgery is not cause for alarm. Warning signs of something more serious would be moderate-severe pain, fevers, or bleeding that lasted over an hour.
Make sure you see your doctor if any of these symptoms are present.
