Please Help

I am eight weeks postpartum from having my son i had a really bad delivery i was in labor for 13 and 1/2 hours i pushed for two hours and finally had to use forceps and in return got a third degree laceration and ever since then i have had tenderness around the episiotomy and i have had pain and numbness in my clitoris i went to the doctor twice and he said i had an infection and prescibed me cephalexin and its not working in all honesty i dont think thats whats wrong can someone please help?

It's WAY too soon! Give yourself more time to heal. Even with a normal non-traumatic delivery it takes eight weeks to recover. In addition to the physical trauma, the hormones your body produces while you are lactating suppress your libido. It's nature's way of keeping too many babies from being born too close together. Take your time and enjoy your new baby. They're only tiny a short time.
