TOPIC: Vaginal Question

Vaginal Question

I have what feels like an irritated spot on the inside of my inner labia, at the top where the two labia minora meet. I can't see anything when I look with a mirror, and the only way I can describe the feeling is that it almost feels like it got flipped inside out temporarily. Anyone else ever experienced this? Doesn't really hurt, just annoying. Comes and goes day by day. My second question is in between the labia minora above the vaginal opening, it appears to look macerated, or lumpy (no red bumps or anything suspicious). Doesn't hurt usually, although feels uncomfortable when touched like you were touching dry irritated skin, but nothing looks like that. I do not believe the area is dry however. Any help would be appreciated, I've had my doctor look down there for something else not too long ago, and I dont want to keep showing up at the doctor's office with my legs in the air if theres nothing wrong!

Re: Vaginal Question

Dear Purple-
Irritated or lumpy skin in this area is usually nothing serious- could be blocked sweat glands, a mild external vulvitis due to abrasion/ chemical irritation, or simply normal tissue- but in rare instances, it might represent an infection. Best to be safe and have a Gyn doctor check it.
