His and Her Health

I am a Registered Nurse with background in neuropsychiatry and ICU. Almost all my adult life I have had very intense orgasms. Often they are so intense that it almost seems like a seizure. I do ejaculate an amazing amount of fluid. I have discussed this with an OB/GYN. I know that initially this is not urine. However, as the orgasms lengthen and intensify, I am sure that I am loosing some urine maybe from a bladder spasm. I am saying urine based on color, odor and quantity. It puts me in mind of someone having a seizure and the associated loss of bladder control. There is so much liquid that we must use incontinence pads every time we have sex. I am able to achieve orgasm very easily and in a great variety of ways...sometimes with almost no physical stimulation, just words from my husband. Sometimes my orgasms are so intense that I think I am going to have a stroke. While it is certainly a good thing to have orgasms I am curious and a little concerned. My husband thinks that I am an alien because my sexual response is off the scale based on his experience with other women. He is not the first man who has indicated to me that my sexual response is unusually intense. Since so many women have a hard time achieving ~any~ orgasm no one seems to want to talk about a woman who is overdosing on orgasms. I do have some problems with stress incontinence and saw a PT to evaluate kegel exercises which were also very, very strong. I think the incontinence has more to do with my 40 lbs of overweight, age(50) & gravity (two grown children) since I do continue to do kegels on a daily basis...knowing for certain that I am doing them correctly. I can't be the only woman experiencing this kind of problem. I would love to be hooked up to an EEG machine & have orgasms to evaluate the brain activity. I do feel that I move into some type of altered state with these very intense and prolonged orgasms. Any light you can shed would be appreciated. I have only seen Berman & Berman once but was totally blown away by the very straightforward talk & explanations...you are providing a wonderful and necessary service. That is why I am here now. Susan, I don't have any answers for you, but just to tell you that, as a woman who doesn't experience orgasms, I LOVE hearing about women who do. <P>So keep on posting, I'm interested!
