TOPIC: Dr's in Los Angeles area?

Dr's in Los Angeles area?

I would love to go see the Berman sisters at their clinic at UCLA. However, right now I really can't afford the clinic fees. Does anyone know of other physicians in the Los Angeles/Orange County area that are willing to work with low arousal?
I'm becoming desperate, as I'm only 26, in a great relationship, etc...but have absolutely no desire. I tried talking about it to my gyn but he just prescribed testosterone cream without doing any tests. He also told me that essentially the cream just gives a placebo effect! Not the answer I was looking for.
Anyhow, if anyone has any suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks.

Recommending providers here is not allowed, per board rules.
You might post this request at the forum listed at the website in my profile, and we'll see what options might be available. For what it's worth, the Bermans are very well known and technically quite good from what I hear. Recommendations for another provider are likely to come with no real "peer" review - i.e. other patient reviews of their skill and manner. This could mean you spend extra time and money bouncing around to find one that you can work with. You'll have to decide if that's better than the alternatives.
Thanks,
Greg

------------------
My profile has my email address and website. Click on the icon at the top of this post that looks like a head with a question mark.
Also note, I am *not* a doctor, and this is not intended as medical advice - Please talk to your doctor about your concerns.
Please have your email address listed in your profile. Censorship here is rampant, thus I'd often rather email you.

Re: Dr's in Los Angeles area?

Get your family doctor to organise the bloodwork for you. It's not so difficult! My ordinary family doctor (actually, he is exceptionally good and highly qualified for an ordinary family doc) does it for me no problem. Take the testosterone cream IF your testosterone levels are below your laboratory's normal range.
