However, it can take longer than a month to work for some women, so you may want to talk to your gyn about other, additional alternatives.
If you aren't an individual with really heavy flow, you can often get around the problem by putting your hips on top of an older towel, or by having sexual intercourse in the shower instead of in bed. Also, contrary to what some people believe, oral sex is definitely possible while you're on your period. He simply needs to focus on your clitoris and stay away from the vaginal opening. The shower is also an excellent place for this.
I understand that having your period while on your honeymoon isn't what any woman wants, but it happens all the time. Hopefully, the continuous pill method works for you. If not, having an alternate and creative sexual plan (and talking to your fiance' about the reality of the situation before the wedding, so he also knows what to expect) can help.

You sure can! I also take Alesse (21's not 28's) and I have just continued on to my next pack many times to be sure my "monthly friend" did not show up at the wrong time...I do reccommend taking the whole next pack and menstrating as usual the following month....I usually still feel "period" symptoms during that week, even thought it does not come.
