Clitoris Question...

I've never enjoyed the feelings I get when my clitoris is stimulated. Actually, it's (for the most part) really uncomfortable. Not painful, but definitely not a nice feeling. There are certain times that it is enjoyable (usually when I'm on top and in control), but when it comes to more direct contact, such as my boyfriend's (or my) fingers, or oral sex... it's not enjoyable at all.
Has anyone else experienced this, or know of how to solve this problem?

Re: Clitoris Question...

Hmm...if that's the case, not sure if a vibrator is the way to go for you. I'm not sure of myself in giving this advice, but I've certainly heard about women in that situation who find that grinding the whole area on something much more satisfying. From what I have read, you may find more success in chasing after an orgasm by experimenting with positions like CAT, the coital alignment technique. And this sounds kind of silly, but you might want to try practicing straddling pillows, find out the kind of movement that is most pleasurable for you. I'm sure others here will have better advice.

Re: Clitoris Question...

Jettaces, it's not uncommon at all. Many women don't like direct stimulation, but like stimulation AROUND the general area of the clitoris, or pressure (as opposed to direct touching) on that area, or don't care for external stimulation much at all. It's not a "problem" you have. You just have to find out what you like best for yourself and run with it. )
[This message has been edited by Owner (edited 13 October 2003).]
