His and Her Health

Here I am again after a 2 month hiatus. Been very busy with work and homelife. My son was injured in a car wreck when he was hit by a concrete truck. He is going to be alright, but right in the midst of all of this, I find that I am entering perimenopause with a vengence. My question is this...has anyone experienced a rise in their "sexual desires"? I had always heard and thought that they would wane during this time, but mine have shot off the charts. Just curious if I'm the odd girl out on this.

Well, first I'm sorry about your son. Hope all is well. I had a complete hysterectomy in 2001 which put me into instant menopause. I have to tell you that my sexual desire has also gone off the charts. Unfortunately, I was widowed at 44 and had no partner at the time. So I found myself with "myself" all the time. Now I have a great partner who is also very active. So, no you're not alone in this. In reading the boards, it seems that there are fewer of us, but we do exist.
