Thanks for logging onto our bulletin board. Typically breast tenderness doesn't signify anything serious. You should be having an annual mammogram and breast exams. Your healthcare provider should be checking any changes within your breast. The tenderness you mention may be due to hormonal changes. As estrogen and progesterone levels flucuate, it's not unusual for the breast tissues to get tender. You may want to try eliminating caffeine and speaking to your doctor about taking a diuretic. There are also two prescription drugs (danazol and bromocriptine)available, but these drugs also have side effects which you should discuss with your doctor. I hope this helps.
