Been on our news here ladies. Some ladies have ben on prempro also Premarin for 8+ years for menopausal symptoms they are suing the makers of it for they got Breast Cancer nad it wasnot in htere Genes I think somewhere around $47.000 if the news said it right.
Have any of you've heard this. it is on the warning labels about this too for iwas on it froa while then i got off made my thyroid nad heart act up my calfs swell tto. But wondering if this is on any of your news channels too and what do you all think of it. hugs heidi

From the minute I started taking Premarin 26 years ago, I was made aware that this could cause cancer. I was also aware that this would make me feel good and feel more like a woman. Sexually it was my crutch. This did the trick in building the sexual confidence in me as a woman. This small benefit ended up helping my husband and made our marriage all that it is.

When I left that office and walked to my car, I also thought how I could cross the street and get hit by a car or that I have no control of my fate. I chose the Premarin. No regrets. Just gratitude to a wise doctor who informed me of this many years ago.

I also was made aware of the possibility of cancer when my Dr. put me on Premarin. That was well over 30 years ago. I am almost 80 now and except for diabetes I'm in good health. With strong healthy bones.
My mother died long ago from breast cancer that spread to her bones.

ok thanks Imight ask my dr about ti when I see her on the 24th I am havinghot flashes and my FSH is 53.9 . just hot flashes nad vaginal dryness are my only trouble things I have. I am 51 also had a thermal ablation and only have left side of thyroid removed nad surviored 2 minor heart atacks one in 1999 on OR table nad one in 2003 a silent one. so I need tomake a good decision too. so I think this miight be a way to go. Butu also ahve heard of bioidentical hormones too can either one of you explain that. heidi

I just saw that on October 31st, the judge dismissed this case in Minnesota claiming the woman who blamed the drug company did not have any real scientific evidence to prove the breast cancer was from the drug itself. It looks like the case in Reno awarded the three women a total of $134.5 million.
