Thyroid/Perimenopause

I have had a thyroid condition for 15 years now that my regular GP has a hard time regulating. Went to a specialist in this field and thay are still working on trying to regulate this. In the meantime I am having those lovely symtoms of perimenopause........insomia, mood swings, irregular cycles, mind you they are still coming, I recently turned 50 and was hoping this would be almost finished. My Question is how are you women coping with the emotional side of this. I have more cool rushes going through my upper body lately than hot flashes is this normal. I still have the hot flashes but they are not severe. Has anyone had a problem with there taste buds, everynow and than I have like a metalic taste in my mouth that even brushing does not get ride of it. Thank you for listining.

Re: Thyroid/Perimenopause

I highly recommend using bio-identical progesterone cream - I use Dr.Randolph's hormonewell.com- and I also use bio-identical thyroid supplements, T-100 and GTA. A nutritionist is helping me with this. So far, so good.
