It's really important to remain aware of your body, but it's not a good idea to tie everything that happens to perimenopause/menopause.
Medical experts agree that almost any bleeding pattern can occur during the perimenopause, but all changes should be brought up to attention of your doctor. Irregular bleeding is pretty typical sign of perimenopause, but your doctor needs to be aware of the changes that are occuring. So I hope you discuss this with your doctor. Your symptoms certainly sound like they could interfere with your social and work life. Don't be embarrassed to seek medical help as there is much help available.
