i'm 54 years old and "it's back"after 8 glorious months. called my gyn who now put me on provera 10mg for 5 days. no heavy cramping, just heavy bleeding so far. i can't believe the clock must start over and for another year i'm destined to use that contraceptive foam. i can manage most of this perimenopause thing except for the continuous weight gain which is out of control and of course the period that popped out of nowhere. any thoughts on this?
