vestibulitis and back pain

Hello Dr. Goldstein,<BR>I have a question. In your experience with women who have been diagnosed with Vulvar Vestibulitis, is it common to experience severe back pain that was never an issue before the vestibulitis? Thank you.<BR>Jennifer

Vestibulitis can lead to pelvic floor muscle dysfunction which, in turn, can lead to back pain. However, back pain is a very common problem affecting 30 million Americans.
