redness, itching, burning and cut on Labia

Hello all...I have been doing alot of surfing the web and reading up on forums...And I am at this point blinded by myself at the conclusions I have read on my symptoms.

I have redness on my labia, burning itching and a cut just recently after sexual intercourse. It seems I constantly have a yeast infection but have treated it several times with OTC meds. But still symptoms of yeast infection. I have had a few urinary tract infections lately and am very stressed. The last few months of being on my period, it has been very painful to use tampons during my period and usually a week after my period. Now I have used pads this last month.I have done reading on LS and am not sure if I should present this conslusion to my gyn dr...

Need some advice here....
Thank you!!

Lovetotravel here is a link to our website with an article by Dr. Andrew Goldstein that may give you some information you can ask your GYN about.

Also on that page on the right are other informative articles about redness, itching and pain of the vulva and vagina.

Re: redness, itching, burning and cut on Labia

While yeast can cause the symptoms your are experiencing it is more likely a dermatologic disorder of the vulva such as lichen sclerosus or lichen simplex chronicus.
