His and Her Health

Hey!
I am new here and want to know if anyone has started their healing road with vaginismus. I was diagnosed with it 2 years ago. After a lot of drama and no progress, I put it on the shelf. Well, I just FINALLY found a fabulous doctor who is pointing me in the right direction with all of this and I want to get help. She suggested a forum since she didn't know of a support group locally. I want to know if there is anyone else out there in my shoes..... it seems this topic is one of the least common one on this forum so I am looking for some support.

Do a search at the top of this page. Type in vaginismus ,then highlight All open Forums and click the search button. That will bring up many posts from others with the same kind of problem. This may give you some idea of what others are doing.

You might also go to the Forum for Women's sexual health listed in the Sexual Health Group also at the top of the bulletin board.

I did as you suggested before posting this....but thanks anyway. I think I am one of a few instead of one of many around here. But some support is better than none!

I had to add that I think it is funny the system says "sit tight" while I wait to post. That is all I do with vagi... is SIT TIGHT! LOL!
