VESTIBULECTOMY POST- OP

I am at three months since vestibulectomy. I am about to come to terms with the fact that the surgery may not have worked for me. Obviously, it works for most. I still have the same itching and burning. I have never had pain with sitting, or tampons or even sexual intercourse. My current symptoms are eased by neurotin. I am so hoping that I have just not healed completely. Does anyone have an experience to share regarding length of recovery?
I HATE taking the neurotin, but am afraid to discontinue it.
Thanks for any feedback.

Go to the search button at the top of this page and type in vestibulectomy, then highlight the all open forums bar and hit search. That should bring up quite a number of posts from women with like questions. There will be a number of posts with different recovery times for each woman recovers at her own pace.
