oxalates

Why are there no posts about the low oxalate diet and the 5% lidocaine on cotton ball treatment?
Have people have any success with these treatments????

Re: oxalates

Sarah1 there is not great evidence for the low oxalate diet.
As for the lidocaine: I do have patients that are successful with this treatment, but I know it is not for everyone. Some people get very irritated with this touching their skin. Most are my patients who are prescribed with Lidocaine are prescribed with a compounded form to lessen irritation.

Re: oxalates

In my opinion, the low oxalate diet is useless for > 95% of women who use it.

While the lidocaine on a cotton ball paper seemed exciting, I have had almost no success with it.
