His and Her Health

Hi;<BR>I'm new to this board. I had a d&c Aug 21/03 due to "spontaneous abortion". On Mon Aug 25th around 4:30 am ... I had bad cramping, back pains and lots of clumpy blood coming out. Once the blood finished passing, the pain stopped.<P>My question is .. why am I still bleeding? It's now Sept 6th and I'm having brown bleeding once in a while (like the very end of a period). I was at the doctor yesterday and he said it should stop soon. He examined me (hand examination) and said he wasn't concerned because I have no pain, no severe bleeding and everything is "ok" inside. BTW: the lousy hospital didn't even send any information to my doctor about me having a d&c (I was sent directly from the office where I had to u/s to the hospital). So he was surprised when I came in. He also said that the doctor musn't have gotten everything out, and my body took care of the rest.<P>Has this happened to anyone? Should I be worried?(obviously .. I am a little). Should I go back to the hospital? How much longer should I give my body to stop bleeding? <P>So many questions .. sorry .. hope I get them answered??<P>dt<BR>
