low libido at 24

I've been married for 2 yr.s,but a few months after we got married my libido seemed to be going.Why was it so good before marriage?We only have sex about once a week,sometimes only once every couple of weeks.I on Effexor XR 150mg.,Necon 150/28(birth control pills),Concerta 36mg.,and Lamictal 200mg.s I know that taking these medications could have some effect on my libido,but why at such a young age? I just need some advice.Thank you!!!

Hi Kris:<BR>Drug side effects can occur in people at any age- and certainly anti-depressants and birth control pills can effect libido.<BR>Remember also that other non-pharmacologic factors can effect sex drive (stress, illness, relationship issues). See the doctor that prescribed your medications for help with that part, and visit a counselor too if that would be helpful.<BR>For the sake of your relationship, don't let this problem linger on too long without taking action.<BR><P>------------------<BR>Supportive Guy
