I was diagnosed with PFD- wondering if I got my muscles botoxed the muscles that niva noted in her post that are usually the culprits to vestibulodynia, if the pain in the vestibule would disappear?

if there is pain at ONLY 4,6,8 o'clock in the vestibule, then PFD is often the cause of the vestibulodynia and Botox can be used to augment physical therapy.

but botox alone will not take the pain away in the vestibule if it is due to PFD? And if it doesn't, can you please explain why it would not alleviate the pain -since the muscles are pretty much paralyzed?
