Dr. F Good or questionable?

Niva, do you have any personal thoughts about Dr. F I saw his Utube presentation an he sounds so convincing. But then when you read the remarks, and read that his staff is so underqualified, it raises doubts.

Is he really the world's best authority on pudendal neuralgia?

Thank you, Niva.

Re: Dr. F Good or questionable?

Good grief Levatorannie. I meant to type Dr. Filler and stopped at Dr. F!!! He seems to have all of his bases covered. No matter where you go, or what route you travel, he seems to be in the picture.

Now, what do you mean by emailing Dr. J. W. Who is that?

I joined a website based in the UK, but most of their information seems to be about people who go to France for that controversial operation.

I wonder why no one has designed a special chair yet for PNE or neuralgia, one designed like a toilet seat. Doesn't it seem that someone could come up with some design to help sufferers? Hmmm. I have a few engineers in the family; maybe they can help.....it'd certainly be a moneymaker, I'll bet.

Take care and enjoy this beautiful weekend.

Take care.

Re: Dr. F Good or questionable?

Phyl, there are cushions out there that resemble a toilet seat. There are also pneumatic cushions that move the air to areas needed or not needed (very expensive though) and there are gel cushions too for these people.
I don't know of a Dr. Filler. There is also a good physician dealing with PN and PNE in New hampshire; he is a surgeon. Dr. Weiss has treated many patients with PN non surgically. And there are some others around the country.

Re: Dr. F Good or questionable?

Niva: You are great. Thank you. I have sent an email to Dr. Weiss on Lee's behalf.

Aaron G. Filler MD - University of Chicago 1986 PhD - Harvard University - 1986
FRCS (SN) - Fellow of the Royal Colleges of Surgeons of Glasgow, Ireland, Edinburgh and England (Surgical Neurology) - 1994
He evidently invented the surgical procedure for PNE, but it seems very controversial to me, and I don't read too many success stories.

Thanks for the info about the pillows. I'll look into that. I think I could use a gel cushion myself; I spend many hours in front of this computer. I google Google to death!

Thanks, again, for all your input.
