Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum, I hope adding a new topic is ok.

As I have very low testosterone levels and high SHBG, I've been thinking of trying testosterone gel for my VVS. However, I'm very worried about possible side effects, especially hair thinning, since my hair is pretty thin as it is.
Have any of you ever had side effects from 1% testosterone gel? And if so, were they reversable?

1% may be too high but if it puts you in the normal range of free testosterone there are typically no significant side effects

Thank you very much for your answer, Dr. Goldstein. Since I posted the question I found an article where you recommend 0.1% testosterone for VVS, and was wondering what side effects, if any, do you usually see with 0.1%?
