I gave to a child last year and after that I have painful periods each month .I am taking pills regularly and each time I take a pill I regret because of its side effects and urging to stop these pills at any cost .Any other suggestions to do so?

Are you taking a birth control pill? If that is the cause of your problem ask your doctor to put you on a different birth control pill.

Yes . I am taking birth control pills and when I discussed about this to my doctor she gave me some more pills to stop the pain. I am just fed up of pills now!

I am doing yoga for the past few months. I too had severe pain in the beginning but now it has been gradually decreasing . Any how I think I have to wait for some more time to get a complete relief.

I doubt whether it will work immediately because I have experienced a slow recovery after doing yoga .
