I have been off the birth control pill for 6 months now, and am having major acne. It seems as if it is getting worse. The acne shows up a day or two before I start my period. Is anyone else having this issue? I haven't had this much acne since I was a teenager. Will it straighten out as my hormone's adjust?

I am 28 and I went off the pill a year ago. The same thing happened to me.. especially the jawline. It took about 9 or 10 months to get a bit better but it just kind of went up and down. But, I'm afraid your hormones are just less regular off the pill so you have more acne. I had not hormonal acne when I was on the pill which was why I started taking it in the first place when I was younger. Anyway, hope that helps!

I have the same issue and I still have acne although I stopped taking the pill (in my case it was the nuvaring) 12 months ago.
My vestibulitis hasn't improved but also not gotten worse but my acne has gotten worse after I stopped the nuvaring. (I'm 27.)
