Okay I have been having the best sex of my life!!!!
For those who know my story, I've had VVS ever since I was sexually active, which was almost 10 years ago.
I tried botox. . . probably . . . . 6+ months ago. I believe she used 1 vial. . I think. . in the vulvar area. My dr noticed some spasming. We did an extra few (cc's?) of botox about 3-4 weeks after the first dose.
So this is what I do know (besides having mind blowing sex. . no jokes. . okay you DO need a partner who has skill, but that is a wwhoollee other topic).
After sex (say the next morning, or later in the evening) I take one Aleve (Naproxen) which is a NSAID (non steroidal anti inflammatory) recommended by my pharmacist. Then I try to ice the area (NO longer the 20 mins, and not directly on the skin. More then 20 min will cause vasodilation which is NOT what you want!). I ice once or twice, then 8 + hours after the first Aleve I take another one.
This is what I do (plus that one session of botox) and I am having great sex every 2-3 days and multiple times in one night. I have never been able to do this before!
I might get some more botox when I can afford it. The botox has seemed to have treated the superficial pain in the vaginal entrance. The ice and anti inflammatories seem to calm down the after pain and swelling which is my biggest issue now.
Good luck!
