Can you please tell me what is the area right inside your anus to the left.
My pain is primarily 12, 9 and 6- nothing on the right side.
But it is right inside the anus is that the sphincter muscle? hurts so bad

Perhaps you have hemorrhoids?

What is your pain like? Also, you can get an anal exam from a GI dr who can see if there is a fissure, hemorrhoids, or if there is something else going on.

Here is (while be it not great) visual of the anal canal.

You have your external sphincter (which is a circular muscle), then internally you have your internal sphincter (another circular muscle). I have no idea how wide each of these are since your pain is about 1/2 inch in. Then beyond that you can see in the picture that there is smooth (not controlled consciously by you) muscle that lines the anal canal.

You have a lot of muscles in your pelvis drugs.com/cg/kegel-exercises-for-women-discharge-care.html so if you are pressing DEEP instad of superficially then you might be hitting one of the muscles shown in the picture.

Granted your sphincters are generally TIGHT and strong. If it is musclular it might be a tigger point (taut band which can-not always-radiate pain). Go see a specialist for a good exam if the pain hurts really bad and they can tell you for sure : )

sphincter can be in spasm?

Theoretically any muscle can spasm I believe. If the internal sphincter was in spasm I can't imagine you'd be able to pass solid waste, and it would probably be painful even without touching it.

Spasms generally happen from 1) injury or 2) lack of nutrients/stress of the tissue. I could very well be wrong though.
