Recovering: Modified Vestibulectomy/Perineoplasty

My surgery was on January 21st. The first day was the worst. The second and third day were both pretty uncomfortable, but not as horrible as I had anticipated. The worst has been waking up in the morning. I was able to tolerate riding in the car on the fourth day (although I don't wish to do it again for a bit). Today is day 5. I am quite itchy. And still uncomfortable. I think some of the swelling has gone down. I think I have about 10 stitches.

I am not in a ton of pain. I am quite uncomfortable though. I don't know how to describe it. The ice seems to help. I am out of pain meds right now.

I am a fairly active person and the bed rest is really getting to me. I'm lucky to have a supportive boyfriend, friends and family.
