I have fairly large inner lips, they hang out. Is this normal?
I also want to know what is the purpose of them?

Labia come in all sizes (there is the labia majora and minor, the major being the larger outer 'lips'). It is not a disorder to have them be big.

Some women can have their labia become smaller once they reach menopause due to less female hormones. . but that is off topic@^_^@

If you find your labia are too big, and they get pulled or in pain during sex or . . any other activity then you can get their sized reduces. I'm assuming surgery is the only option, but their may also be laser options.

Please do not consider surgery to have your labia reduced (labiaplasty) unless you are having very significant discomfort. I have seen several very bad surgical outcome from these surgeries.
